End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance characteristics that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric forklift units.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications which require frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device used by various companies that maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The tines also include a hydraulic system that enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides much more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
