Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized to transport supplies and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump that can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle can smoothly turn. The pallet must be stacked carefully in order to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever located on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is truly dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you as the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Slowly stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
