The Taylor Machine Work's TX4 Series of forklifts are 4WD and specially designed for one specific task: transporting material in the harshest and most difficult environments you could imagine. Some of the terrain these types of machinery work in consists of: mud, snow or uneven and rough environments. The TX4 delivers supreme performance and has become the leading alternative for many businesses.
The TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment, similar to the more comparable articulated forklift units. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specifically and completely manufactured and engineered by Taylor Machine Works.
Available today, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 model is an articulated 4-wheel drive lift truck made to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Usually, in order to attain the same capacity from a lift truck or front-end loader, the front-end loader or forklift must be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase that comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD lift trucks are true rough terrain forklifts. They were engineered to have no deration in full turns. As well, this unit comes direct from the factory with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain lift trucks are among the most powerful and extremely robust and really maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain lift trucks offered for the wood products industry. The only USA manufacturer who designs and makes rough terrain forklifts with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Therefore, they have become the leader within this specific field in North America and have earned a solid reputation within this niche.
Every unit in the TXB Series line of lift trucks utilizes a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge air to air or after-cooled diesel engine. Some of the standard engine features include electronic diagnostic maintenance and engine/transmission protection systems, less overall emissions, improved fuel economy and fuel/water separator.
The TXB series uses a 3-speed, modulated transmission, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with inching ability, electric roll shift control as well as a separate cooler for air-to-oil.
Taylor has built a lot of equipments to handle the harshest environments. These machinery can work at their optimum levels within some of the most difficult applications. They are dependable and strong and built to last and get the task done in a timely and effective manner.
