Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and made in order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being made and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
