Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person utilizing it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts could not move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to hoist workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
