The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations as well as the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus greatly reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Like the majority of turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
